When you have Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) being on the receiving end of a flare-up kind of goes with the territory and it royally sucks.  Whenever possible, I have found that it pays to look upon my flare-ups as more of a (hopefully) temporary and unexpected detour before getting back on the main road of remission.
